Project Templates
The tutorial shows how to create a new project template in PROBIS. It demonstrates how to define and save the name, measurement system, currency, and catalogs. The template dashboard, taxonomy, cashflows, reports and scenarios are configured.
Steps
- Open Scenarios tab for Project temp 3 workspace — Navigate to the Scenarios tab so the Scenarios list page for Project temp 3 displays a table containing at least one scenario row alongside the sidebar navigation.
- Configure Cashflow Report parameters in modal dialog — Use the Cashflow Report modal to select a Startpoint value, adjust Month and inclusion of Costs, Risks, Finance, Revenues, set Status month, toggle Forecast, and then proceed with Next.
- Acknowledge Important Information dialog on Costs view — Respond to the Important Information modal over the Costs view, using the checkbox for Don't show this message again if needed and selecting OK to proceed.
- Open Project temp 3 workspace with Cashflow tab — Navigate into the Project temp 3 workspace so the left sidebar shows module tabs like Cashflow (selected), Comparison, and Budget, with a search field and Save button above an empty main area.
- Open Project data tab in Project Settings — Click the Project data tab from Project Settings to access detailed fields like Project temp 3 name, email forwarding address, template reference, country, GPS latitude, and project status.
- View project dashboard with KPIs and budget cards — Allow the loading screen to resolve into the project dashboard, where KPI cards, budget status, and cash out plan cards appear under the Project Settings tab.
- Wait on Loading project details intermediate screen — After saving the template, observe the loading screen with a spinner and Loading project details... text as the system prepares the new project view.
- Save completed New project template configuration — Click Save at the bottom of the New project template panel after confirming cost catalog, rating scale, risk, revenue, and finance selections are all configured.
- Reveal Revenue dropdown in template configuration — Continue down the New project template panel until the Revenue dropdown appears below cost catalog, rating scale, and risk options in the stack.
- Open New project template from templates list — Click the New project template button to open the New project template modal as a right-side panel over the Project templates list.
- Switch to Project templates in Settings sidebar — Click Project templates in the Settings side navigation to replace the Catalog templates list with the Project templates list and New project template button.
- Review Catalog templates in Settings view — Inspect the Catalog templates table in Settings, including each template’s Edit/Remove actions and the New catalog template button in the header.
