Catalog Templates
This demo shows you how to create a new catalog template to use it while creating a project.
Steps
- Return to main Demo catalog templates overview — Close or complete the New catalog template creation panel so that the main PROBIS Demo catalog templates page shows templates like 'Catalog Temp 1' and 'Catalog Template 2' with Calc costs, Edit, Remove, and 'Add new catalog template' actions.
- Keep creation panel open over templates list — Continue working with the right-hand New catalog template creation panel over the PROBIS Demo catalog templates list while maintaining the current configuration for template type and name.
- Confirm Catalog Template 2 type and Finance catalog name — Verify that the New catalog template creation panel has 'Catalog Template 2' selected as the catalog type, the 'Finance catalog' name filled in, and the Create and Cancel options ready to use.
- Expand Finalizing section to show Revenue field — In the New catalog template side panel, click the Finalizing section header so that the 'Revenue' text input field becomes visible for configuring finalization data.
- Expand Re Bid cataloging in Demo side panel — Within the New catalog template side panel, click the Re Bid cataloging section header to expand it and reveal the 'Standard cataloging' text input field while other sections stay collapsed.
- Navigate to PROBIS Demo catalog templates view — Move to the PROBIS Demo catalog templates page where the main templates table appears on the left and the New catalog template side panel with 'Catalog Template 2' and open Building section appears on the right.
- Select Catalog Template 2 in modal dropdown — Use the template dropdown inside the New catalog template modal and choose 'Catalog Template 2' while leaving catalog section checkboxes available for configuration.
- Click New catalog template in Settings list — Click the 'New catalog template' control on the Catalog templates settings page to open the right-side modal with catalog section checkboxes.
- Review loaded catalog templates in Settings — View the Catalog templates list with existing templates such as 'Catalog temp 1', and note the Edit, Remove, Search, and 'New catalog template' controls.
- Wait for catalog templates to load in Settings — Stay on the Settings Catalog templates page while the loading spinner and 'Loading catalog template...' message indicate templates are being fetched.
