Invoice Workflow
The video shows how to configure an invoice workflow opening the editor, assigning a team to the audit task, and viewing audit details. It then demonstrates how to load and review invoices, and add a comment for approval.
Steps
- Navigate to Building 8 invoice list by batch — Exit the modal and review views to reach the Building 8 invoice list screen with left navigation, top filters, and a table of invoices grouped by batch.
- Open invoice review with Reject and Proceed — From the dashboard, open an invoice review interface showing the invoice preview, workflow status panel with totals, and bottom actions including Reject, Decline, and Proceed.
- Enter Approve comment and review options — Type 'Approve' into the comment field inside the 'Add comment' modal, then confirm the Cancel and green Proceed buttons are available for submission.
- Activate Proceed on Invoice 00000023 — Use the Proceed control in the footer of the Invoice 00000023 detail screen to initiate the next workflow step.
- Load selected invoice from list view — Begin opening a specific invoice from the invoice management screen, dimming the list while a centered 'Loading invoice...' spinner appears.
- Exit editor to workflow settings list — Navigate out of the full-screen Invoice WF editor back to the Building 8 Workflows settings page with document and invoice workflows listed.
- Expand team selection for First audit — Open the team selection dropdown in the 'Edit task - First audit' panel to choose which team will handle this task.
- Adjust zoom on Invoice WF canvas — Zoom the 'Invoice WF' editor canvas further out and position the pointer over the central task node in preparation for editing.
- Review Building 8 workflow toggles — Wait until the Workflows tab finishes loading, then review each workflow entry with its toggle and automatic trigger dropdown.
- Open Workflows tab for Building 8 — Trigger navigation from the Building 8 dashboard to the Workflows tab, where a loading overlay appears while workflow data loads.
