Add a hotspot manually to your interactive demo

Place a hotspot at any timestamp, add a title, description, and voiceover, then apply it to your demo.

Steps

1. Review Styling, Effects, and Actions — Hover over a hotspot in the Hotspots list to reveal its controls. Click the pen icon to open its settings, or click the three-dot menu and click Delete to remove it.
2. Apply Hotspot and Voiceover Changes — Click Apply. The hotspot is added to the list at the timestamp you set.
3. Enable Auto Voiceover in Bubble Settings — Turn on AI voiceover to narrate the hotspot. Select a voice, enter your script in the text field, and click play to preview it.
4. Switch to Hotspot Effects Sidebar — To zoom into the hotspot when it appears, turn on Enable zoom under Effects. This step is optional.
5. Guide users with "Publish" tooltip — Under Bubble settings, click one of the dots around Hotspot position to choose which side of the hotspot the bubble opens from.
6. Switch to configuring "Publish" hotspot — Click the Description field and enter the detail for the step. This is optional — a hotspot works with just a title.
7. Edit properties for "Click here" hotspot — Click the Title field and enter the hotspot title. 
8. Confirm hotspot over Responses section — Drag the hotspot on the video and drop it where you want viewers to click.
9. Review timer hotspot panel and Done — Click the Time field to open the time picker. Scroll each column and click the value you want, then click Done.
10. Switch to timer hotspot configuration — Turn on Hide other elements to clear the other elements on that step — blur, highlight, text — so you can edit the hotspot distraction-free. Affects your editing view only, not what viewers see.
11. Add a new hotspot on form — Click the eye icon in the top right of the Add hotspot panel to turn the hotspot off. It stays in your list and keeps its settings — it just doesn't appear to the viewer. Click the icon again to turn it back on.
12. Expand Hotspots section in sidebar — The panel lists all the clicks captured during recording, each with its timestamp. Click Add new to add a hotspot manually.
13. Review Google Form preview and sidebar — Once you've created your interactive demo, go to the Edit panel and click Hotspots under Add elements.
