Break Long Guides into Chapters

You can now split a step-by-step guide into chapters. Each chapter gets its own cover, so viewers can see the structure at a glance and find the section they need.

  • Custom chapter covers: Give each chapter a title, a description, and a background of your choice —still or animated.
  • Cover display options: Show or hide the chapter number and step count, or restart step numbering for each chapter.

Refer to How to add Chapter to guide for a detailed walkthrough.

Annotations Now Work in Videos and Interactive Demos

Annotations are no longer limited to Step-by-Step Guides. You can now add them to Videos and Interactive Demos to highlight important information exactly when viewers need it. From the Edit panel, go to Add elements → Annotation and choose from four annotation types:

  • Quick Note for extra context
  • Key Insight for tips and explanations
  • Announcement for updates and new information
  • Alert for warnings and cautions

Customize the title, description, timing, and on-screenposition to fit your content. You can also add a sound effect or keep an annotation visible for its entire duration.

Perfect for guiding viewers without cluttering your video or demo.

Refer to How to add annotations to videos for a detailed walkthrough.

Downgrade Now, Switch at Renewal

You can now schedule a subscription downgrade instead of switching plans immediately — your current plan stays active until the end of your billing cycle.

  1. Schedule a downgrade: Pick the plan you want to move to and click Schedule downgrade. The downgrade takes effect automatically on your next renewal date.
  2. Manage a scheduled downgrade: Your Subscription page shows the plan you're moving to and the date it takes effect. From there, you can:
    • Review the schedule — See the target plan and effective date right under your current plan.
    • Cancel the downgrade — Click Cancel scheduled downgrade to stay on your current plan.

Perfect for switching plans without giving up days you've already paid for.
