Play video frames in your step-by-step guides

Add more context to your guides with motion!

You can now animate a step by playing a short video frame instead of a static image. Just:

  1. Select a slide in your step-by-step guide.
  2. In the right panel, go to Image Transition.
  3. Choose Animate Click.
  4. Select the duration: 3, 5, or 10 seconds.

Your step will now play as a mini video for the chosen duration, showing exactly how the click was performed.

Note: This feature works only for slide images taken from the original recording (not custom uploads).

The video plays around the click point, which is treated as the center of the animation.
For example:

  • A 3-second animation will show 1.5 seconds before and after the click.
  • A 10-second animation will try to show 5 seconds on either side, but it adjusts based on available video footage.

This ensures your viewers always see the most relevant context, no matter the duration you pick.

Bring clicks to life and make guides more intuitive.

Select slide images directly from your original video

Missed a click while recording your guide? No problem.

You can now add a slide image from your original video at any moment — even if a click wasn’t captured during the recording.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Click Add Step in your guide.
  2. Select Slide Image > Choose from Original.
  3. Watch the recorded video and pick the exact point where you want the image.
  4. Fine-tune to the millisecond using the time controls.
  5. Insert the image as a new step or replace an existing one.

Perfect for filling in missed steps or refining the flow of your guide.

Precision editing, right from the source.
