AI voiceover generates a spoken narration in the language you've added to your Flo, using an AI-generated voice and a timestamped script.
Why use it
Instead of recording a voiceover yourself for every language, AI voiceover generates natural-sounding narration automatically, complete with a script you can review, refine, or manually adjust before publishing.
How to add an AI voiceover
- From the language selector at the top left, choose the language you want to add AI voice to.
- In the Edit panel, under the Voice section, switch from Original recording to AI voice.
- Floik switches over to AI narration and assigns a default voice automatically.
- Click Manage to open the Voice-over panel. Here you'll find the voice dropdown and a script already broken into timestamped segments.
- Choose a different voice from the dropdown if you'd like.
- To regenerate the script, click Update script and describe the change you want — for example, ask for a friendlier tone — and AI rewrites the script accordingly.
- You can save up to 10 script versions at a time and switch between them anytime. Your timing and edits are preserved across versions.
- To add a segment manually, click Add. This opens a field where you can enter a timestamp and the text, which gets added to the existing script.
Best practices
- Always verify AI-generated scripts before publishing.
- Use Update script with specific instruction (tone, length, formality) rather than regenerating repeatedly without direction.
- Keep manually added segments consistent in tone with the rest of the AI-generated script.
