Word-Level Highlighting in Narration

Step-by-step guides now feature a more guided reading experience! Our new Word-Level Highlighting during narration syncs every spoken word with the text on your screen, creating a perfectly timed narration experience for your readers.

To apply word-level highlighting to a guide,

1. Once you have enabled narration, click Manage at the top.
2. In the Narration panel, turn on the Enable word highlighting toggle.

End user experience:

When a user starts the narration by clicking the Play icon, the text will automatically be highlighted word-by-word as it is spoken. It works seamlessly across all supported narration languages.
