How to manage multiple AI voiceover script versions

What is script versioning?

Script versioning lets you create and switch between multiple versions of your Flo's AI voiceover script. Instead of committing to one version, you can update it, generate alternatives, or revert to the original — without losing your previous work.

Why use multiple script versions

• Test different tones or phrasing without overwriting your only script.
• Compare versions side by side before deciding which one to publish.
• Undo changes by copying back from the original at any time.

How to manage script versions

1. Open your Flo and go to the Edit tab.
2. Under Voice, toggle from Original recording to AI voice.
3. Click Manage to open the Voice-over panel.By default, Floik generates one script version automatically.
4. To edit the current version, type a prompt into the Update script box — for example, "refine it into professional narration" — and click Update. This updates the version that's currently selected.
5. To create a separate version instead, click the three-dot menu next to Update script and select Create new script. Enter a prompt and click Create. Floik generates a new version, shown as User Prompt Analysis followed by Generating script.
6. To discard your edits and start over, click the three-dot menu and select Copy from original. A confirmation window appears, since this overwrites the current version with the original content and can't be undone. Click Confirm to proceed, or Cancel to keep your edits.
7. To switch between versions, click the version dropdown (for example, Version 1) above the script and select the version you want.

You can create up to 10 script versions per Flo.

Best practices

• Use Update script for small refinements to a version you're already happy with, and Create new script when you want to try a different tone or approach without losing the current one.
• Before selecting Copy from original, confirm you no longer need the current version — this action can't be undone.
• Review each generated version before publishing, since AI-generated content should be checked for accuracy and tone.
