How to apply the zoom effect on hotspots

Apply the zoom effect on hotspots in Floik to draw attention, enhance focus, and make key elements in your interactive demo stand out visually.

Crafted using Floik
Method 1: From the Added Elements section
  1. Expand the Added Elements section. All elements added to the interactive demo, including Hotspots, are listed here.
  2. Hover over the hotspot you want to zoom. This reveals three icons: Zoom, Edit, and Delete.
  3. Click the Zoom icon to enable zoom for the hotspot. Once zoom is enabled, the icon turns purple.
  4. Click the Zoom icon again to disable zoom. Once zoom is disabled, the icon turns grey.

Method 2: From the Hotspot settings
  1. In the Added Elements section, click the Hotspots element.
  2. From the Hotspots panel, click the Edit icon on the hotspot you want to enable zoom for.
  3. Turn on the Enable zoom toggle under Effects.
  4. Turn off the Enable zoom toggle to disable zoom.

Best practices
  • Use zoom sparingly — apply it only to hotspots that highlight the most important details, so it doesn't distract from the overall demo.
  • Preview the Flo after enabling zoom to check that the zoomed-in area frames the     intended content clearly.
