How to use AI to generate introduction and summary to guides

AI can instantly generate an introduction and summary for your step-by-step guide, adding context at the beginning and a wrap-up at the end without any manual writing.

This is especially useful when you want to quickly add context, highlight key takeaways, or improve the overall readability of your guide.

How to generate an AI introduction

1. Hover over the first step in your guide. A plus icon appears above the step.
2. Click the plus icon. Two options appear: New Step and AI Generate Introduction.
3. Select AI Generate Introduction. An AI-generated introduction with a title and description is added instantly.
4. If needed, add an image to the step using the Add Image/Background button.

How to generate a summary

1. Scroll to the last step of the guide.
2. Hover over the last step and click the plus icon at the bottom. Two options appear: New Step and AI Generate Summary.
3. Select AI Generate Summary. An AI-generated summary with a title and description is added instantly.
4. If needed, add an image to the step using the Add Image/Background     button.

Best practice

• Review the AI-generated introduction and summary before publishing — edit the title or description if it doesn't fully capture your guide's context or key takeaways.
• Add a relevant image to the introduction and summary steps to make them visually consistent with the rest of the guide.
• Regenerate the introduction or summary if you make significant edits to the steps in between, so the content stays accurate.
