Export as HTML turns a Step-by-Step Guide into an HTML version that you can use outside Floik. Floik sends it to your registered email address as a ZIP file attachment.
Why use it
Sometimes a guide needs to live outside Floik, such as on your own website or in another tool. An HTML export gives you the guide's content as code that you can share with your team or embed elsewhere.
How to export a guide as HTML
- Open the Step-by-Step Guide you want to export.
- Go to the Share tab.
- Expand the Export as HTML accordion.
- Click Download. The HTML version of the guide is sent to your registered email address as a ZIP file attachment.
- Open the email and save the attached ZIP file.
- Extract the ZIP file to access the HTML version of your guide.
Language limitation
HTML downloads are available only in the original recorded language. AI-translated versions are not supported. The default language is used for AI translation, not for downloads.
Best practices
- Check that the registered email address on your account is one you can access before you export.
- Finish editing the guide before you export, so the HTML version reflects the final content.
