Yes. You can upload a video and convert it into an interactive demo. After uploading the video, you can use the editing panel to manually add hotspots and other elements to make the demo interactive.

No, Floik does not capture clicks or screenshots from outside your chrome browser. This is to protect our users' security.

Floik does not capture keyboard entries during recordings to protect user security and privacy. If you need to display keyboard actions in your guide or demo, you can add them manually during the editing process.

When you start recording, you’ll be prompted to choose your mic and camera options. In the permissions pop-up, click Allow to grant Floik access to your microphone and camera.

To hide the Floik floating icon during workflow capture, pin the Floik extension. Pinning the extension removes the on-screen recording control from the screen while recording. You can still access the recording controls anytime by clicking the Floik extension from the browser toolbar.

To capture pop-ups during recording, make sure you select Entire Screen when choosing what to share. Pop-ups may not be recorded if you are sharing only a specific window or browser tab.
